MS Science, Year A
(for grades 6-8)
1 yr MS Sci YA, is an integrated science course. Lesson topics include (1) metabolism, (2) genetic traits, (3) thermal energy, (4) Earth's oceans, (5) weather, and (6) Earth's atmosphere.

MS Science, Year B
(for grades 6-8)
1 yr MS Sci YB, is an integrated science course. Lesson topics include (1) plate motion, (2) rock transformations, (3) phase change, (4) chemical reactions, (5) populations and resources, and (6) matter and energy in ecosystems.

MS Science, Year C
(for grades 6-8)
1 yr MS Sci YC, is an integrated science course. Lesson topics include: (1) force and motion, (2) magnetic fields, (3) light waves, (4) Earth, Moon, and Sun, (5) natural selection, and (6) Earth's history.

HIGH SCHOOL - GRADE 9
Biology
(for grade 9)
1 yr Bio introduces students to the study of life.
NOTE: All students must take Biology to meet science graduation requirements.

Intro to Agriscience
(for grades 9-12)
1 sem This course explores the field of agriscience. Intro to Agriscience is an Ag course that is approved for science credit.

HIGH SCHOOL - GRADE 10-12
Chemistry
(for grades 10-12)
1 yr Chem is a general chemistry course where we study matter and its interactions.
Prerequisite: Alg I

Aquatic Science
(for grades 10-12)
1 sem Aquatic Sci explores ocean and freshwater environments as well as the organisms that live in them. This course offers a survey of oceanography, marine biology, and limnology.
Prerequisite: Bio, Chem recommended

Science of Country Life
(for grades 10-12)
1 sem Country Life Sci digs deep into the science of our rural life. This student-driven course will allow us to learn the ins and outs of country life skills and traditions.

Plant and Soil Science
(for grades 10-12)
1 sem In this course, students will study the principles of plant biology, soil composition, and the interactions that influence plant growth. Plant and Soil Science is an Ag course that is currently under review for approval for science credit.

Production Animal Science
(for grades 10-12)
1 sem This course allows students to explore topics such as animal nutrition, breeding, health, and ethical considerations in animal agriculture. Production Animal Science is an Ag course that is approved for science credit.

Physics
(for grades 11-12)
1 yr Physics is the study of force, energy, and motion.
Prerequisite: Alg I & II

Biomedical Science
(for grades 11-12)
1 sem Biomedical Sci explores the introductory science and practices utilized by biomedical professionals. Examples of biomedical career areas include medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, veterinary medicine, nursing, chiropractic medicine, etc.

Introduction to Biochemistry/CVTC Introduction to Biochemistry 806-186, 4.0 credits
(for grades 11-12)
1 yr Biochem students study the chemical substances and processes that occur in living things. It is articulated with Chippewa Valley Technical College's Introduction to Biochemistry 806-186 allowing students to earn 4.0 CVTC college credits.
Prerequisite: Bio and Chem (both B- or higher)

General Chemistry/CVTC General Chemistry 806-134, 4.0 credits
(for grades 11-12)
1 yr Gen Chem is a second year general chemistry course. It is articulated with Chippewa Valley Technical College's General Chemistry 806-134 allowing students to earn 4.0 CVTC college credits.
Prerequisite: Chem and Alg II (both B- or higher)
